  • Professional User – Can access all modules including administration via desktop and mobile. The Professional edition requires one Professional user minimum. Can also access Advanced Dashboards(‘SAP Business One, for SAP HANA’ configuration only) and Interactive Analysis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Limited User – Can access the features in a role typically used on a daily basis via desktop and mobile. Each Limited user can be requested as one of these roles: CRM, Financial or Logistic. For more details about the features included please refer to the License comparison chart.

Put simply, the MS SQL version uses disk storage technology, whereas the HANA version uses in- memory technology. For HANA, the data is loaded into the memory of the server so all processing is done at speeds more than 100 times faster than that of disk-technology based MS SQL.

The Integration Framework of SAP Business One is the integration platform (middleware) for SAP Business One. It is delivered with a number of standard SAP integration scenarios that can be used without additional license cost.
The Integration Framework supports different integration scenarios. An SAP Business One partner or customer may create their own integration scenarios. In order to activate these partner or customer integration scenarios, the number of involved instances need to be licensed.
The right to run integration scenarios developed by partners or customers with instances (systems)in the System Landscape Directory of the Integration Framework of SAP Business One can be purchased for an additional fee per instance.
Existing SAP Business One customers can continue to use the Integration Framework without additional cost, if their contract date is before July 15th 2013.

Metric definition of an instance: An instance is a unique connection to a single specified application or technology type such as a web service. Maximum price is 20 instances, 21st instance and next are free of charge
Definition of an instance for B1iF:
• Instances are sending or receiving systems defined in the System Landscape Directory (SLD) used in active integration scenarios.
• One instance can be used across multiple integration scenarios and only needs to be licensed once.
Predefined standard integration scenarios delivered by SAP and the required instances (systems)can be used without any additional license fees. Standard SAP scenarios that are copied and modified to tailor to customer needs, do not need to be licensed.
Pricing is only applicable to new customers with a contract date after July 15th 2013.

SAP HANA  (High-performance Analytic Appliance) is a multi-model database that stores data in its memory instead of keeping it on a disk. The column-oriented in-memory database design allows you to run advanced analytics alongside high-speed transactions – in a single system. Why is this so important? Because it lets companies process massive amounts of data with near-zero latency, query data in an instant, and become truly data-driven. By storing data in column-based tables in main memory and bringing online analytical processing (OLAP) and online transactional processing (OLTP) together, SAP HANA is unique – and significantly faster than other database management systems (DBMS) on the market today.

All Named Users should be covered by SAP HANA engine or Microsoft SQL server licenses. Some Product Options (e.g. used to integrate with other systems) require to be covered by database licenses as well. The database licenses sold from SAP Business One price lists shall only be used in conjunction with SAP Business One and SAP Business One Add-on application data.

SAP Maintenance and support is charged as a percentage of the contract value (on top of the Named Users, Product Options and Database Licenses).
